Early on in Jil’s career she sought to work with some of Seattle’s icons of Landscape Architecture. For a brief moment, she had the good fortune of sitting in Rich Haag’s office. She created this illustrative rendering of his beloved Bloedel Reserve - before the Garden of Planes was removed. This film clip is classic Professor Haag (fun fact - he was the Father of Landscape Architecture at University of Washington)!
Seattle is so much the richer for his contributions over his long & wonderful lifetime.
