Jil Stenn is a Landscape Designer and artist regionally recognized for creating beautiful, resource conserving gardens. Through years of hands-on experience in all phases of landscape development from master planning to construction and maintenance oversight, Jil has developed a practical sensibility of plant performance and how landscapes work. Recently, she has built several school gardens that are vital demonstrations of food production and environmental stewardship.

Jil holds a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. She worked in the offices of prominent Seattle Landscape Architects including Thomas Berger, Richard Haag and Robert Murase prior to establishing Stenn Design in 1991.
